Casinos in Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is a country in Central Asia with relatively few legal casinos. Online Casinos Sri Lanka are the only legal form of gambling in the country, but only exist in two major cities. This was busted however by the new president, who denied gambling licences to all the three planned operators. Currently only one operator has decided to go ahead and build the luxury hotel without the casino. Perhaps in the hope that the ever shifting laws governing casinos in Sri Lanka will change again in their favour. Currently there are a few legal casinos operating in Sri Lanka, but nothing on the level that was hoped for.
Casino Marina Colombo
Casino Marina Colombo is one of the newest and biggest casinos in Sri Lanka. It is located not surprisingly in Colombo, right behind the older Stardust Casino. It is a big shiny casino with all the popular table games such as Blackjack, Roulette and Three Card Poker. Players can take advantage of complimentary drinks and snacks on the casino floor, as well as a buffet restaurant for both players and visitors. The casino complex is spread out over four stories and offers a number of attractions including a stage for live performances, and a VIP gallery. The VIP gallery is basically the high limits room, and over looks and surrounds the main gaming hall. The casino has a over 200 slot and video poker machines, with a wide variety from penny slots up to much more expensive machines in the high limits gallery.
Bellagio Casino Colombo
As you can see, many of the casinos in Sri Lanka are named after famous ones from all over the world. The Bellagio Casino is no different, and strives to imitate its name sake as closely as it can. The Bellagio is another casino that is large and flashy. It opened its doors in 1998, which makes it one of the oldest casinos in Sri Lanka, and means that it was operating during the civil war. The Bellagio strives to be the classiest casino in Colombo, with a number of table game options including Asia Poker, Baccarat, Blackjack, Roulette and Three Card Poker. There are of course a number of Canada slot machines and video poker machines on offer too. All drinks and snacks on the casino floor are complimentary, and all patrons are welcomed with a free glass of champagne on entry. The casino has a number of restaurants ranging from fine dining with multiple cuisines to a free buffet on the casino floor for players. A bar stays open well into the night offering cocktails and mocktails as well as quick bar snacks.
